Introducing Maranics' Progress Indicator

Maranics' new progress indicator brings real-time automation to maritime workflows, enhancing visibility for cargo loading, passenger onboarding, and more.
Introducing Maranics' Progress Indicator

At Maranics, we're always looking for ways to enhance operational efficiency and automation in maritime workflows. Our latest enhancement—a versatile progress indicator—allows checklists to visually represent ongoing processes, enhancing the visualization of ongoing maritime operations. Combined with our workflow automation tool, this new control can be used to visualize processes from other sources and providing a unified and dynamic view of operations. While our demo highlights its use in cargo loading, this feature can be applied to numerous maritime workflows beyond logistics.

A Fully Automated Progress Visualization

The clip demonstrates how the progress indicator, showcased within our upcoming dark theme, can be used to visualize cargo loading in real-time. The process begins with larger vehicles such as heavy machinery and trucks being loaded first, followed by smaller vehicles like cars, until the system marks the loading as complete.

This entire workflow is fully automated, requiring no user interactions. In real-world applications, the data driving these updates would come from integrated systems, ensuring seamless synchronization with live operations.

Expanding the Use Cases

While our demo focuses on cargo, the same feature can be applied to other maritime scenarios:

  • Passenger on-boarding – Display live updates on boarding progress, with breakdowns by category (men, women, children, etc.).
  • Beverage and supply loading – Track the status of consumables, including the exact number of tons loaded by listening for events from other ongoing checklists.
  • Other operations – Monitor the status of various onboard processes in real-time.

Try It Soon!

This progress indicator is designed to bring greater visibility and automation to maritime operations. We’re excited to see how you incorporate it into your workflows! The feature will be available in production soon—stay tuned for updates, and let us know how you plan to use it!
