Product Updates – New APIs, Faster Performance and Quality-of-Life Upgrades

The past month has been all about refinement. We’ve focused on improving performance, flexibility, and day-to-day usability. These enhancements are now available in staging and will roll out to production shortly.

🚀 Event Hub: Faster Access to Fresh Data
We’ve dramatically reduced response times when fetching the latest events by topic. This means faster dashboards, more responsive automations, and an overall smoother experience when working with time-sensitive data.

📋 Data List: Polished UX, Smarter Exports, and New API Endpoints
The data list has been refined with a series of subtle UX enhancements that improve clarity, consistency, and usability in daily operations. Exports are now more compatible with Excel, ensuring better formatting and structure across different versions.

We’ve also introduced new API endpoints for the data list, enabling more precise queries and integrations. These additions unlock greater flexibility for teams building automations or embedding data interactions into external tools.

🤖 Automation App: Streamlined Testing and Event-Aware Controls
The automation app gains several productivity-focused upgrades. A one-click button lets you clear the test queue instantly, while expandable code windows improve the experience when editing complex logic.

Most notably, we’ve added a new activity control that listens to events from the data list. This allows automations to respond directly to user actions—opening the door for tighter, more responsive workflows without custom scripting.

📸 Flow App: Refined Camera Control for Live Captures
The camera component has been rebuilt to offer more control during data collection. You can now restrict uploads to live captures only, preventing the use of saved images from the device gallery—perfect for workflows that rely on authentic, real-time photos.
